Current forecast
Issued by the National Weather Service at 6:47 PM MDT on July 3, 2009
Through 800 PM thunderstorms in eastern Quay County will gradually exit into Texas. However...significant runoff and ponding are expected to persist for at least an hour or two after the rain stops. Meanwhile...isolated showers and thunderstorms will remain possible elsewhere across eastern New Mexico. Most of the activity will move toward the northeast at speeds from 15 to 25 mph.
